On Wednesday June 24, Dr. Edberg, presented and participated in a Capitol Hill Poster Exhibition and Reception in honor of the NIH Office of Behavioral and Social Sciences Research 20th anniversary. Dr. Edberg was asked to represent the Avance Center for the Advancement of Immigrant and Refugee Health and its Adelante Project, funded by the National Institute of Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD). The Avance Center/Adelante project was one of just three participants in this exhibition selected for participation by NIMHD. The photo below includes Dr. Edberg together with other NIMHD staff and presenters. The exhibit and reception was held in a large caucus room at the Cannon House Office Building.
