Adelante participant, Kathryn Garcia, shares her story, the skills and experiences she gained from the Adelante program, and her dreams for the future. Through her resiliency and the support of the Adelante program, she is now able to pursue higher education. Her message to young people? “Believe in yourself and take advantage of the opportunities agencies like the Latino American Youth Center gives you.” The Avance Center is proud to provide young people like Kathryn the support and tools they need to succeed.
